Hi, this is a repost as my last message was In a sub-sub-sub thread :o)
..
The machine freezes and I can reproduce the stuff.. I use hammer head to
prodce a lot of http connexions... no problem till I do NOT play with
ipvsadm..
if I run ipvadm -Ln a lot of time and quickly then the machine freezes
(not oops or Aie from the kernel .. the machine is simply freezed)
I use a vanilla 2.4.12 and ipvs 0.9.4...
Here are the ipvs entries
ipvsadm -Ln
IP Virtual Server version 0.9.4 (size=65536)
Prot LocalAddress:Port Scheduler Flags
-> RemoteAddress:Port Forward Weight ActiveConn InActConn
TCP 192.168.35.199:80 wlc persistent 30
-> 192.168.39.199:80 Masq 1 1 57895
-> 192.168.39.200:80 Masq 1 7 65147
gcc info :
Reading specs from /usr/lib/gcc-lib/i686-pc-linux/2.95.3/specs
gcc version 2.95.3 20010315 (release)
This is the same machine where I have trouble with 0.8.1 (checksum...
can find it in the list...)
Apparently this is not direclty due to the nmber of connections (how
many can we have ??), since all is ok when I do not play with ipvsadm...
But on th other hand .. If the machine is not under "heavy" load.. I
have no problems by running ipvsadm...
Heeeeeeeeeeellllllllllp... Since I cannot use 0.8.1... and 0.9.4
hangs... what can I do ?? ;)
Regards
Hervé
