Ciao Romeo,

I had a look at the code. With ipvsadm you get / set it in seconds, but it ist converted within ipvsadm code from jiffies to seconds. I use the libipvs to get it directly via a getsockopt in jiffies so my description is correct.

Time for me to read ipvsadm again :) Thanks for the explanation.

TimeInterval is defined as 0.01 sec in SNMPv2-TC so it is correct at least on non alpha plattforms.

Ok, so we need a #define for this or people on a alpha will not be happy.

I'm quiet busy, so it's hard to find some spare time.

Yep. Same over here but just in case someone would like to hack it a little bit and eventually propose Wes Hardaker a inclusion into net-snmp, would you help?

I also consider the code as quite a "prove of concept hack". So I think starting from scratch would be best.

Maybe. At least I know now how to generate a SNMP-MIB.

Joe mentioned that there should be a link somewhere on the lvs site

Yep, found it in latter postings. I just wanted to let you know, that I haven't forgotten your addition to LVS. It sometimes happens that things here get lost because of no wide interest and a year later different people come up with it again.

Take care,
Roberto Nibali, ratz
