Hallo Peter,

if i use heartbeat with ldirectord,
can i create a LVS with two computers where
A is the director, B is the failover
A uses uses localnode and B as the realservers,
(if B fails then just localnode)
B uses just localnode.

Is this possible ?

if you are using heartbeat I would suggest teaming it with ldirectord.
check the archives for past examples.  I think I wrote something for the
HOWTO a year or so ago, too..

keepalived seems to be an interesting option.  However I'm waiting for
Alexandre to declare it as "production" :)
