Yes, i confess that i should of rtfm'ed better. i read so much
documentation, and the howto is so large, that i can't remember what i did
read and what i didn't read
The bottom line, my setup works now. i have disabled icmp redirects on the
director.
had problem removing the route to the connected subnet from the real
server - the real server is w2k, and it restores the route every time i
reboot ( i don't suppose that anybody here knows how to handle that ? ) but
anyway, i solved the problem by putting a route on each realserver so that
the route to the real servers that will be acting as clients would go
through the director, and that overrides the more general route created by
w2k automatically, that tells the real server to send the packet directly to
the client.
