thanks for ur reply.
im using ipvs 1.0.7, kernel 2.4.20 and 2.4.19. the same problem in both.
if i forgot to mention, im using LVS-DR.
the VIP is still configured on the director -> im still getting serviced
for ssh, telnet and so on (an lvs service. )
as for tcpdump, already tried that, no help there... network traffic
seems to b fine.
as i stated, the problem only occurs with squid. im trying now to attach
some code of mine to port 8080 and look for troubles.
if you have any ideas, ill b happy to hear them.
anyway, i'll keep u posted.
