No, but if you use high availability for your directors its advisable to have a serial or other second heartbeat mechanism between your two director. I have used ldirectord for ~2 years (?) now with almost no issues, so I definitely recommend it. Keepalived is also an option, but if you've already got heartbeat you might just want to stick with ldirectord. P |
