Thank you very much, but i still have a question, in this case when the first server gose up again, the host name must be same with the second one, because you moves hosts.backup to hosts in the second. then at that time, two servers have the same host name again, so heartbeat can't work with the same hostname. how can we deal with that.

Easy:

create a mon alert (in case you use mon) who moves hosts.backup to hosts when the first one is down. works for me.

I want to keep the same hostname on the two director servers, how can i do
  that? I know that normally two server must keep different hostname.
