We have this happen on occassionally on the local sysadmin's list
and I came up on the list one day wondering about the skills
of a sysadmin who would do this. I got several replies
that people, who work for places where lotus notes is the LDA
for e-mail (eg the US Govt), have auto-replies automatically
generated for them and they have no control over the matter.
Places that have lotus notes assume that you're an administrative
person, exchanging e-mail on an intranet and that you never exchange
e-mail with people outside your organisation (at least this is how
it seems).
After learning this, I assume that these auto replies are from some
poor bastard who is being forced to use Lotus Notes.
