versions:
OS: redhat 7.3
kernel: 2.4.20-20.7
drbd: 0.6.8 (api:63)
heartbeat: 1.1.3-1
problem:
I've been working on figuring this out for a couple of days now,
and have it narrowed down to where I'm pretty sure of the actual
problem. I have two systems, setup to run drbd and hearbeat
failover. The second system (HA2) does not give up the ip
address of the primary server when the primary is rebooted.
If I stop drbd then the secondary machine immediately releases
the virtual address and the primary (HA-1) takes over. It would
seem that the datadisk resource-script for drbd is not
functioning correctly when called by hearbeat/linux-HA. Is there
a partucular way that this should be done that is causing this
to happen? Can anyone provide me with some avenues to look into?
configs:
(from grep -v ^# /etc/ha.d/ha.cf):
debugfile /var/log/ha-debug
logfile /var/log/ha-log
logfacility local0
keeplaive 1
deadtime 30
warntime 10
initdead 220
baud 19200
serial /dev/ttyS0
ucast eth0 10.1.1.3
auto_failback on
watchdog /dev/watchdog
node HA-1.dsitest.com
node HA2.dsitest.com
Any help would be very much appreciated.
