I'm not sure where this thread started But, I have found
"logresolvemerge.pl" found at
http://awstats.sourceforge.net/docs/awstats_tools.html is a very useful tool
for merging a number of logs.
I've never bothered to look at the code behind it but it "does what it says
on the tin" (and almost anything else you require of it) and while on the
subject "awstats" is a real slick analysis tool to boot.
