Of course... such delay in doing the takeover beween directors is
unacceptable. I had been looking in HP FAQ, and found something may be
relevant; they say that the switch is not supported for DHCP servers, at
least a DHCP server makes the same thing that HA makes... i mean move
one IP address from one switch port to another...

Not sure if this is an option, but the HP Procurve 2524 managed switch only runs about $500 these days, and the unmanaged Procurve 2324 is only $420. I've used both with LVS clusters and they work fine. Why not upgrade? It's kinda silly to run a cluster designed for high availablity on an entry level cheapo $200 switch.

At the same time, I've run test clusters without fail on $40 D-Link and SMC soho switches. I think you need to dump the switch.

Is there any way to force the switch to refresh MAC Address Table?, is
there any Linux tool that sent any kind of packet over the net forcing
the ARP Table to be updated?

See "GARP" ... http://www.linuxvirtualserver.org/~acassen/
Anyone know the difference between garp and doing arping -U?
