Regarding section 11.2.3 of the LVS-HowTo ("don't use persistence with sshd") : I use ipvs to load balance ssh and I do use persistence (and my users are happy with it -- in fact they asked me to do so). With this setup when they open multiple sessions they are guaranteed to reach always the same realserver, so they can see all their processes and local /tmp files. Is this worth mentioning in the next release of the HowTo? -- pc |
