SuSE comes with a 2.6.5 + patches on top of it, and with the latest
kernel RPM you'll be just fine regarding the arp handling of a real
server. No need to apply the arp patches anymore.

Yes, this is correct, modulo the fact that you don't have to apply any
patch anymore with recent SuSE 9.1 kernels. You have to deal with the
arp problem when running a real server which are the terms we would
