> o other projects that could be done with lvs One thing I find real interesting is the layer-7 possibilities of LVS. A layer-7 product using TCPHA (http://dragon.linux-vs.org/~dragonfly/) at gigabit speed would be very nice ;-). Maybe you can have it look up a cookie or database record for each user request and put preference users into a VIP pool. Also QOS is nice, it can really be good against DoS attacks. And Layer-7 filtering on top is icing on the cake. P |
