>Going a step further: If it's more or less just a router, is there any special treatment for >any of the various service types? Isn't specifying protocol "udp" vs "tcp" enough then? Ldirectord will attempt to check the functionality of the real server according to the service type you have set, if you do not have the system correctly configured to check a specific type of service it will fail the check and change the weight of that real server to 0. Keeping traffic from passing to it. |
