OK, that makes sense.
So what could be stopping the real server from responding?
I have no idea. Can you describe the problem?
Joe
This is the output of my ipvsadm
ns0:/etc/ha.d# ipvsadm -ln
IP Virtual Server version 1.2.0 (size=4096)
Prot LocalAddress:Port Scheduler Flags
-> RemoteAddress:Port Forward Weight ActiveConn InActConn
TCP x.155.167.196:80 rr
-> x.155.167.242:80 Tunnel 1 0 2
TCP x.155.167.195:80 rr
-> x.155.167.226:80 Route 1 0 0
-> x.155.167.227:80 Route 1 0 0
Note that the VIP 195 is working fine using the Route method.
This my ipconfig on the real server

The LVS-Tun setup is working OK?
I read somewhere that I should be able to run a traceroute from
the real server to the client using a source ip address of the
Virtual ip - traceroute -s VIP CIP. This does not work for me.
No you should not be able to do that. The return packets will
arrive at the director and stop there. If it's in the HOWTO, where
is it - I'll correct it.
