Thanks. I did miss that one before, the HOWTO is pretty long.

On a related design to my previous diagram, I've got another set of
machines already using LVS-NAT for web serving. Is there any way I can
traffic from the director AND real servers in the NAT setup to be access
the service using the external address?

which external address?

If you have two LVSs, then machines from one LVS can be clients of the 2nd LVS
