Hi.

I need a client on the director because the web server that uses the database 
is hosted on V3, and V3 is also the director. Thus I presumable need V3 to 
connect to V3.

I'm not sure we're understanding each other here. It's so obvious to me why I 
need V3 to connect to V3 that your last question frankly confuses me. What 
would you suggest other than connecting to the VIP from V3, when I need V3 to 
talk to the databases through LVS?
