as well, by definition the RIPs are unroutable. You need to route the VIP to the default gw. On my real server, the VIP is setup on iface lo to solve the arp problem (2.6.18 kernel). I'm assuming the default gw has to be setup on my primary iface, eth0. Right? If my RIP is on a different subnet from my ISP's default gateway, how can I route the VIP the default gw? For example: VIP: 11.22.33.44 Default gw: 11.22.33.45 RIP: 192.168.1.2 Do I have to buy a router to do this? Thanks again. |
