Subject: | [lvs-users] Heartbeat + LVS: need to reload config |

My ldirectord.cf file changes frequently as we add new hosts to our configuration. In the past I have been doing a "service heartbeat restart" which will cause a failover to the backup director in order to load the new configuration. Is there a way that I can reload the ldirectord process without failing over? I have autoreload=no and I don't want to turn it on. I have seen other posts that suggest there is no way to do this, are they telling the truth? -CM |
