Hi Joe,
Yes, I saw this HOWTO section  and I noticed it was speaking about patch  and
 firewall marks ...

I tried firewall marking without success ... And as I am working on a recent
Linux release, I  am not sure kernel patch is still  necessary ..

Well, a step-by-step HOWTO would be a great thing for newbies like me..

Many thanks,
Yan

have you read the section in the HOWTO on running a firewall on the director?

Joe
