As other people will probably tell you, piranha is supported by RedHat
and you will get more information from their list(s).

Why don't you follow the HOWTO and set things up manually? Just a simple
node that acts as the director and one or two realservers. And LVS-NAT
is the easiest thing to setup since you only need to change the default
gateway on the realservers.
Then, once you get that working, try something more complicated like
piranha.
