Subject: | [lvs-users] Do Higher Persistence Values Cause Higher Resource Utilization? |

We have about 1200 realservers behind 600 virtual services (2 RS per VS). Currently, persistence is set to 240 seconds. We are considering setting a very long persistence time, like 12 hours. Is there any downside from the standpoint of performance or resource utilization on the LB itself? I'm guessing no, but it's safer to check. -- Eric Robinson _______________________________________________ Please read the documentation before posting - it's available at: http://www.linuxvirtualserver.org/ LinuxVirtualServer.org mailing list - lvs-users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Send requests to lvs-users-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx or go to http://lists.graemef.net/mailman/listinfo/lvs-users |
