Noisy... Have you tried to downgrade the Kernel Version or/and LVS version
? First of all try to run your kernel without LVS support then
shutdown/restart your DLXXX that way you confirm/infirm that the problem is
located into LVS code....

If patching/recompiling kernel with LVS code introduce this issue
(otherwise this is a kernel issue), This can be due to LVS code... Then
wait for Wensong or Julian response...

=> I am running LVS 0.9.8 with 2.4.18 on a DL360 and I have not this
issue....

=> If you highlight this is a LVS issue => try kernel downgrade... and/or
LVS downgrade... This will give us a clue and a first step to debug this
problem if it is due to LVS code.
