Has anyone used Mac OS X for a real server in LVS/DR ?

Is it OK to use the loopback interface ?

sudo ifconfig lo0 inet 10.0.0.80 netmask 255.255.0.0

I can't get lo0:1 to work?


Also from an old post I heard that :
ifconfig lo0:1 inet 192.168.1.1 broadcast 192.168.1.255 netmask
255.255.255.0

will work on Solaris..

Can anyone confirm ?
