ipvsadm

you mean "the client"?

seems to connect to the same real server for multiple connections coming from the same client regardless of the service. I am using round-robin scheme. Is there any way to distribute the load to different servers for connections from the same client? Thanks

apparently you've defined persistence to cover all services, it which case they'll all go to the one realserver. If you define the services separately (eg telnet, http, https), then the client will always go the same realserver for that service (within the timeout period). If you're starting up the LVS, all three services might go to the first realserver.
