Hi,
I read Horms' reply. Yes, you just let heartbeat manage your lvs. You should
be able to find the answers in the configuration file on ultramonkey's
website. Anyway, Look into haresources to set the primary server.
BTW, I never tried StreamLine LB & HA topology. Good luck with that!

hey Mr Longhua,

Thanks for your reply. But how to do I make LVS to know which is my primary
server and it should keep on sending the requests to the primary server(in
my case LVS & Real Server is the same),I am using StreamLine LB &
HA(ultramonkey) topology.

For ex
2 Servers are there Server1 & Server2 .
Server1 will keep on receiving the requests unless it goes down in this case
through heartbeat the Server2 will take up the charge.
When the Server1 comes it can take up the charge again if I put
"auto_failback on" in ha.cf <http://ha.cf>.
But I don't know where to specify which is the primary server(Server1) and
which is the secondary server(Server2) and all the requests should go to the
primary server except in 2 scenarios

a) If the Server1 goes down
and b) If the Load on the Server1 increases too much(either automatic or
manually).

Thanks & Regards
