The web site problems is a weird kernel-hardware interaction that is
causing the machines to flop at seeminly random times. :( Its being
worked on right now. Also, the mailing list machine was seriously
backlogged a couple days ago but when I subscribed myself to the list
it worked, just took about 20 minutes to get the confirmation stuff
back.
