Hi,
I'm using lvs-0.9.12 with kernel-2.2.14 + Intel's E100 NIC driver.
(LVS settings are DirectoRouting+RoundRobin)
I made benchmark it with "http_load" which generates Web-Requests.
When I tested it with eepro100.o NIC module, LVS showed a good performance.
But With Intel E100 driver, It showed so many error messages on
both director(dispather) and real-servers
error messages are
eth0: Transmit timed out: status 0050 0000 at 1475/1489 command 000ca000
eth0: Trying to restart Transmitter...
eth0: Transmit timed out: status 0050 0000 at 1545/1559 command 000ca000
eth0: Trying to restart Transmitter...
eth0: Transmit timed out: status 0050 0000 at 1651/1665 command 000ca000
eth0: Trying to restart Transmitter...
eth0: Transmit timed out: status 0050 0000 at 1693/1707 command 000ca000
eth0: Trying to restart Transmitter...
....
and "http_load" clients that send web-request has zero-size reply
or time out
(maybe don't get reply)
What's the solution to this problem?
Do I set my machine incorrectly?
PS) When I tested it with LVS-0.9.11, there is no problem. :-(
