        Hello,

TESTLVS 0.1 - a LVS director throughput testing tool
is available at:

http://www.linuxvirtualserver.org/julian/testlvs-0.1.tar.gz

The main goals:

- to test the throughput in packets/sec for a LVS director:
the hash functions and the connection table management

- to test the anti-DDoS defense strategies in the LVS
director

- to show how LVS performs on different hardware
configurations (your best results can be put on the LVS
site). There are users that need this information.

After the first tests in the Wensong's labs, it seems
one client host running testlvs is not enough to put the LVS
director near its limits. You can experiment with two or more
client hosts.

Currently, there is a script for the real servers that
shows the traffic in packets/sec for Linux 2.2+. You are free
to build other scripts on other platforms that show this rate.
The other thing you can do is:

cp testlvs testOTHER_BALANCER

if the request rate is not enough. Good luck!

Regards
