Unfortunately you're ahead of the curve here. I was hoping I'd
get to this earlier this year but I haven't written
code to handle that yet. The configure script sets the LVS up,
but can't dynamically change the LVS. This is on my todo list
but won't be done for a while. 

In the meantime, you can set the weight to 0 with ipvsadm
and comment out the appropriate line in the mon.cf file
and then re-HUP mon.
