This I have difficulty to find out.
I just recompiled rsync under HPUX (my client), but there is no option
or anything regarding 'auth' or 'identd'.
I have an identd server (under inetd) on my client, I presume
it is needed there for other purposed. Because my client is a production
system, I cannot start playing around with its normal set of daemons
running.
