Just one addition:
GFS is also worth trying (http://www.globalfilesystem.org/)

Cheers,

Hi all,
we made some good experiences with the use of GFS.
We are using LVS in conjunction with the GFS for about one year in older versions and it worked quite stable. We successfully demonstrated the solution with a newer version of GFS (4.0) at the CEBit 2001. Several domains (i.e. http://www.atix.org) will be served by the new configuration next week.

Have a nice day, Mark

PS: I think it's http://www.sistina.com now.
