When I was having problems similar to this, I changed the VIP from eth0:0 to
eth1:110. It seems that it is easier for the server to send the request out
on the eth1 which is configured for the RIP network

i have setup a virtual service for my vip and tcp:80, wlc on the
director.

when i make a telnet connection to port 80 on my VIP or let my browser
point to that address, the request times out ...

i can see the arp requests on my private 192.168.100.x lan, but the
apache running on the real server doesnt get the request.
apache bound to the vip with BindAdress, one VirtualHost configured with
NameVirtualHost. The apache serves the page correct when i use lynx/links
on the real server...

maybe someone can point me to the right direction ...

thanks, Chris
