As a side note to the other discussion. I just put the BGP bogon router server stuff into my border router. It is forwarding all bogus netblocks to Null0. In just over 1.5 hours I have already dropped 150 MB (megaBytes) of traffic on my Null0 interfaces. 150,000,000 * 8 / (3600*1.5) = 222kbps of traffic from bogus networks. Or about 2% of my network traffic. -Matt |
