We replaced local directors with LVS about 2 and a half years ago and
haven't had any problems other than occasional ldirectord.conf whitespace
issues. (It would be real nice to get rid of the sensetivity there).
We've gone through a number of incarnations of kernel/LVS/ultramonkey. We
started out with 2.2.14-Vasomething with LVS .84 (?) and are keeping up with
Ultramonkey's SRPMS since we are stuck on RH7.2. My advise for anyone
reading this message to use Debian or Gentoo or their own custom
distribution for their servers - not RedHat - due to the short lifespan of
their releases.
