hi all
I have the current network: 50-500 set-top-boxes accessing one windows
server on HTTP and two or more linux servers on diverse protocols. To
allow for failover between the windows servers, I want to use the existing
linux boxes with LVS. The only problem is that I somehow need to load
balance their use as well, as their role today is to stream video
(unicast). So the solution I'm looking forward to is, >=2 video streaming
servers running linux and LVS + our software, >=2 windoze servers behind
LVS to serve the stuff they do. Failover support for the actual video
streaming is already solved, and the web traffic to the windows servers is
quite low. All servers are on the same layer 2 LAN.
So - is this possible?
thanks all
