Hi Mike,
If you post in ascii, rather than html, then my mail client
will put it into the reply.
I don't think there's any limit to the number of IPs on any NIC.
However support for ethernet aliases (eg eth0:5) is not good in 2.4.x
kernels and most tools expect you to be using the iproute2 tools instead.
(I don't know if this is your problem)
