Hi Mike,

You don't need to specify the ldirectord daemon on each line of the haresources file if all of your virtual services are in one configuration file. Heartbeat will try to run ldirectord once for each VIP when you do that. If you really want multiple instances of ldirectord you can do it, but each VIP (each line in haresources) must have its own unique ldirectord configuration file. (Not a bad idea since this will insure the VIP is up before ldirectord tries to create the virtual service.)
