That's what I'd hoped, but the following should work (on the realserver): root@realserver:~# telnet 82.115.225.254 80 Trying 82.115.225.254... telnet: connect to address 82.115.225.254: Network is unreachableHo. But it works on my site. And the default route for the VIP network is outside. Could it be an arp problem ? What kernel version are your realservers running?I don't think it's arp... the arp table doesn't contain the VIP on the realserver, which is right. arp tables elsewhere on the network point to the director.
