I also began to set up an LVS cluster with failover and the like but ran into 
one issue with kernels >=2.6.8 when 2.6.9 had not yet been released. The

However, I just checked the 2.6.9 sources and the above patch hasn't been 
applied. It may be fixed in some other way, but more likely it was just 
forgotten. Anyway, I suggest that you do some testing with high load to see 
if you can reproduce it.
