With LVS using Direct Routing.....

must contain the same files.

need 2 LVS servers (or server pairs for redundancy).

hmm.

You have a site A.com. You put the contents of A.com onto several realservers and you balance the realservers with an LVS director. You can do the same thing with B.com with a separate LVS cluster. You can also run both A.com and B.com on a single LVS cluster by adding rules for the two sites with ipvsadm. You also need apache on the realservers to listen for both A.com and B.com and know where the two different sets of files are.

Is this correct?

possibly. Did I answer the question you were asking?
