Hello all,

I am getting above error mentioned in the subject while pinging target
host. I am getting above error while pinging target host on ppp0
interface with packet size greater than 7500. i.e. if I ping with
following command
ping -s 7560 x.x.x.x
It gives me
ping: sendmsg: No buffer space available

While I give same command on eth0 interface I do not get this error. Even
if I increase packet size upto 65000, I am not getting this error.

I have Fedora core 3 OS. I am not understanding this error. Can anyone
please tell me why I am getting this error? Where buffer space is not
available, on sender side or receiver side?

I found few posting about this error on this forum. If anyone has answer
please reply me back.

Thanks in advance
Regards,
Kavita
