let me redraw this to my guess as to what you might be doing
internal public
clients VIP DIP servers
192,168.1.x 192,168.1.1- x.x.x.x
c1 - LVS-NAT -- s1
c1 -|--------------director--------|-- s2
c3 - -- s2
the director will load balance whatever ports you put in the
ipvsadm table
x.x.x.x is your public IP
the public servers are all serving the same
content/application and don't have to know that
they're being load balanced by the director.
