I read that page but it does not seem to help much. It states,
"L2TP/IPSEC encapsulates data twice making it less efficient and
slightly slower than its rivals," but standard IPSEC using IP protocol
51 does not encapsulate the data twice. Also, I can appreciate their
desire to tell me, "OpenVPN provides the best performance," but I cannot
rely on that until I see some real comparative benchmarks. Sigh.
