        Yes, you need IPVS upgrade.

        IIRC, every CPU that defines CONFIG_X86_USE_PPRO_CHECKSUM, see
file arch/i386/config.in. This includes PIII. Note that this is not
a CPU problem but an IPVS one because csum_partial was changed between
2.2 and 2.4 not to work correctly with length 0. Consider this an
IPVS or csum_partial bug.
