Well, yes. But I think the webserver logfile is not the only thing you wan't
to know - you want to know the real load of the server. Imagine a system task
suddenly starting to tidy up the fs, a backup starting or whatever - that can
be noticed in the loadavg, but the webserver logfile is no indication at
all...

No. A client may open multiple SSL connections at once, which obviously will
not come from the same port - but I think they will come in with the same SSL
id.
