Could it be the reverse name lookup? Whenever I have strange problems
with timeouts, it often is because the machine can't reverse lookup
the ip I am connecting from. I believe ident does this, so if it
believes you're coming from the ip address that your lvs is on,
perhaps there is no name for that?
