i don't see any reason why the mysql service in general wouldn't work with
lvs.  it's just a pretty normal tcp service from my take on it.

i don't think mysql will be too happy if you throw 2 mysqld servers on the
same set of database files, however.  sounds like you're heading for
corruption to me.  =)  but i'm not really sure how mysql can handle that
stuff.

or maybe you were just talking in terms of failover...
