I am new to LVS and am trying to set up a tunneling VS on a stock
Mandrake 7.0a installation (kernel-2.2.14-15mdk) - so far with no
results. Maybe anyone knows what is missing ...
I have two machines (.194 and .196) and an alias IP (.193). I followed
the instructions on the HOWTO document about TUN server setup for use
with port 80 for the apache web server. Requests directed to the real
server work. Requests directed to the director's ip or its alias don't
work. Basically no packets show up on the tunneling device of the real
server - i.e. the real server never seems to get the requests.
Regarding the version ...
[root@www1 linux]# ipvsadm
IP Virtual Server version 0.9.4 (size=4096)
Trying to patch the mandrake kernel with the latest version 2.9.10
failed. Does anyone have a mandrake-kernel RPM with the latest ipvs
version applied? The version of ipvsadm RPM I am using is: ipvsadm-1.7-4
